ARTFINDER - A WAYFINDER PROJECT

Welcome to a ✨ new ✨ era of Wayfinder!

Myself, Sarah and Tully have spent lots of time discussing what care looks like at RYT, together we came up a monthly art prompt project. I’ve developed a list of words relating to Riverland Youth Theatre to creatively respond to each month.

I’ll be posting the prompt to RYT’s socials at the start of the month and posting the responses at the end of the month. It’ll give me a nice opportunity to think deeply about the prompts, and listen and watch for inspiration during my office days.

But I also thought “why not bring everyone else along?”.

So, I’m inviting you to respond to the prompts too. I want you to take five to thirty minutes to create something with the prompt in mind. Maybe it’s a short poem, or a scribble on the back of a receipt, a snapshot of something you’re working on, maybe it’s just dot points about things you’re thinking about.

There doesn’t need to be a reason, or explanation. I want to see how others interpret this word (whether it’s related to RYT or not!). I want to know what this word means to you. What is drawn out from you when you think about this word.

Share your creation in the comments of the Facebook post. Or upload to Instagram using the #Artfinder2025 and tag RYT. If you’d like to submit anonymously, email admin@ryt.org.au and we can upload it on your behalf 🩵

Kirste

Curiosity means questions. Kirste spent two days (with the intnetion of the whole month) writing down questions during office hours.

Turns out people are very curious.

MAY - REST

How are you resting this month? What does rest look like for you? This is how others interpreted this prompt.
